Educational licenses are entitled to any modo updates that are released within a year of issuance or renewal.
All educational versions are renewable one-year licenses. After two years, any student or faculty member with an active license of modo can upgrade their student license to a commercial license to modo for the then current upgrade price ($395 as of 9/10/07).

How To Apply
To apply for student pricing, first create a user account at www.luxology.com. Send a request for educational pricing to educational sales through our online form. You must include the following in your email: Luxology account user name, proof of current enrollment (student ID or similar), contact information for the registration office of your school. This can be attached in PDF format or faxed to 650-378-8564.
Please note that students must be enrolled full-time in a 2 or 4 yr college, university or vocational program or enrolled full-time in graduate school.
