Luxology is pleased to offer two versatile libraries of textures for use in your favorite 3D software program. Specially designed for 3D work, many of the textures are carefully assembled in pairs or triples that each contain matching color, bump and/or displacement maps that will make even simple models render with satisfying realism. All maps have been computer generated to tile perfectly and are completely royalty-free and are ready-to-go into your productions!

This handy set of textures is ideal for adding a weathered, aged or distressed look to your 3D productions. Streaked, speckled, mottled, striated and etched textures are included in this collection that incorporates both linear and organic patterns. Ideal for adding subtle detail, dirt and "character" to your 3D productions. Twenty-six (26) material presets for modo are provided, and the .PNG format images at 2K by 2K resolution will work great in any 3D application of your choice. To make things even easier, they tile seamlessly and are royalty-free. A total of 98 "kits" containing matched color, bump and/or displacement maps are supplied in this library (196 images included in the kits) along with another 65 greyscale images. A perfect companion to the first set of textures, this set extends the collection with more richly detailed organic patterns reminiscent of sandstone, mold, lichen covered rock and also includes some man-made patterns like camouflage, and numerous treatments for brick, and polished limestone. Ideal for battle damage, planetary surfaces, or to season up most any scene where you are striving for realism. Twenty-seven (27) material presets for modo are provided in this library, and the .PNG format images at 2K by 2K resolution load smoothly into the 3D application of your choice. As always, these images tile perfectly and are royalty-free. A total of 98 "kits" (196 images in pairs of triplets containing color, bump and/or displacement maps ) and an additional 64 greyscale images are supplied in this library along with a video tutorial suggesting creative uses of the textures.

Real World Usage Samples Let's look at how the Luxology texture libraries can add subtle realism and interest to even the simplest 3D geometry. Here we use some of the kits "right out of the box" to create looks that range from eroded limestone, to pillowy lava to coral. The advantage of 2K resolution images is that you can get very close to the image without seeing pixels. You can see how the kits can easily provide the look of battle scarred metal, bread mold or even old skin. A single kit can deliver many different looks, and the included grey scale images supplied can be used as masks to apply the textures only in desired areas.
